Specialist Project Teams. Long-Term Partnership and Resource Scaling for Life400 Projects.

Problem Faced.

A life assurance company based in Heidelberg underestimated the complexity of one of their projects, which started small, but quickly grew more complex. As their needs evolved, they soon realised they needed expert help to keep things afloat.

The company initially turned to offshore providers in India, but this led to significant knowledge gaps for their products and services.

Solution Provided.

Our specialised recruitment solution provided the client with a highly skilled team capable of managing both BAU processes and additional regulatory projects, with an initial deployment of 2 people. As the project grew, this was quickly expanded to 12. The recruitment model was tailored to ensure the project received a blend of ongoing support and expertise as it evolved.

A unique aspect of this solution was the retention of services even after the completion of specific project milestones. The client viewed us as their “insurance policy,” keeping access to the expertise provided by our team for future phases of the project. This allowed them to scale without losing momentum.

Our involvement spanned 25 years, with PiC acting as a trusted partner throughout the project’s lifecycle. Their deep understanding of life assurance policies and the necessary technical expertise made them the ideal partner, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing success.

We don’t know where we’d be without PiC! It’s been a relationship built on trust and a deep understanding of our ever changing needs. With numerous team members being added at different stages, their impact on our projects has been invaluable.

Outcome.

Our solution was highly successful, with the project running smoothly for over two decades. The team’s expertise was invaluable in navigating the complexities of life assurance and regulatory work, which allowed the client to maintain steady growth. The transition from offshore teams to a more specialised, on-site team proved to be a game-changer, with significant reductions in reworks and a deeper understanding of the project’s intricacies.

The client also valued our long-term partnership, keeping the services of our team members available even after the end of certain project phases. This flexibility and ongoing support helped them to maintain the continuity needed to manage their operations effectively. Our team’s commitment to high-quality work and expertise was key to the project’s ongoing success.
