Senior IT Support Analyst

Excellent Paris-based opportunity for an Senior IT Support Analyst to join a very strong player in the financial service field. They have a unique view on the market and this is a chance to learn some new skills. The role is a highly key position and somewhere you can really embed yourself in at the moment.

This is an organisation that offices across London, North America, Europe and Asia. They have experienced significant growth over the past 2 years and are now looking to build out their Paris office to continue their growth and access to global markets.

This role involves:

• Running of the French entities Service Desk – working closely with your counterparts based across London, Asia and the US
• Reporting into the Head Of IT Service Desk – helping improve systems and processes around department
• Dealing with the effective escalation of tickets
• Support the use of the onsite telephony stystems
• Working practices aligned to ITIL framework wherever possible
• Working to normal business hours to support users Monday to Friday – with the addition out of hours support when required

Experience required:

• Strong level in both written and spoken French and English
• Prior experience working within financial markets is key – specific trading / front office support experience would be a bonus
• Understanding of scripting language (PHP, SQL, Python etc) – and experience working with Microsoft technology stack would be beneficial
• Competency in IP Technology, Desktop Central and HP servers
