Fixed Income and Liquidity Risk Team Lead Permanent

We have a key requirement for a Senior Market Risk expert with a strong focus on Fixed Income (Repo) and Liquidity markets. Paris-based, this client of ours is a market-leading financial services organisation with a global reach and one that is well-respected for their approach and drive towards risk management and maintaining the highest of standards.

In this position you will be working in a transversal position where you will oversee two risk managers, maintaining responsibility for a variety of projects within your Market Risk scope.

The role directly involves

• Maintaining and continuously developing the Risk framework
• Monitoring and reporting on the risk status of the business’ Repo and Liquidity related activities
• Taking direct responsibility over change projects
• Actively searching for areas in technology where the business can improve
• Keeping close contact and being present with the Operational Risk / Compliance to identify solutions and ensure the department remains regulatory compliant

Experience/skills required:

• Fluency in both French and English
• Strong knowledge on Repo/Fixed Income markets and related risk management concepts with hands on experience in developing quantitative models
• Programming familiarity (VBA, SAS, SQL, Matlab)
• Experience working with clients, senior-level management, regulators, and internal and external stakeholders
• Strong quantitative finance background with ideally a Masters-level education in a quantitative discipline
