Operational Risk Analyst / Permanent Control Officer Permanent

Based in Paris, we have a top permanent contract opportunity to work for a market-leading financial services organisation. This is a position highly suited to someone with strong experience around Operational Risk, the 3LoD model and the details required to maintain a Permanent Control framework.

 

This role involves:

 

• Contributing towards the monitoring of risks within the 1^st Line of Defence (LoD)
• Supporting the Operational Risk team in the preparation / presentation of reports
• Maintaining a Permanent Control framework and ensuring the operational effectiveness of the controls in place
• Working with the 3^rd LoD to draft up potential improvements in the framework

 

Experience required:

 

• Fluency in both written and spoken French and English
• Between 3-8 years of experience either within an audit firm or in a position with a heavy operational risk focus
• Expertise on the trading market and its regulatory infrastructure
• The ability to work in a group setting and adapt efficiently towards new regulatory updates
