Trade Finance Relationship Manager Permanent NEW

A leading Australian non-bank financier, specialising in innovative trade finance, debtor finance and supply chain finance solutions, is looking for an experienced Trade Finance Relationship Manager. This role is pivotal in identifying, developing and managing client relationships to promote the company’s trade finance solutions. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, structuring appropriate financing solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the financing lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify potential clients, understand their trade finance needs and develop tailored solutions. Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business

• Work with clients to structure trade finance facilities that align with their operational requirements and risk profiles

• Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, operations and compliance, to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and maintain the company’s competitive edge

• Track and report on key performance indicators, including client acquisition rates, portfolio growth, and client satisfaction metrics

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade finance, supply chain finance, or a related area within financial services

• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management

• Strong understanding of trade finance instruments and risk mitigation strategies

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
