Senior Business Analyst / Solutions Consultant – Life Assurance – Dublin
A Senior Business Analyst is required by a renowned Platform Provider to join their growing team developing and integrating solutions to help clients manage Insurance and Wealth products.

The trigger for these roles is an expansion to a new business line to be rolled out across Insurance providers and Wealth Management businesses across Europe. You will initially be involved in the design of the platform, including the calculations engine, and then with the implementation and integration of it to clients.

It is essential that you have worked with Actuarial teams, acting as the bridge between them and software developers, to specify relevant calculations and turn them into Business Requirements Documents and Technical Specifications.

As a result, it is also absolutely essential that you have a background in, and good understanding of, with-profits life and investment products. Without the with-profits experience your application will not be considered.

Key responsibilities:

• Capturing and documenting the business needs of customers and creating requirements documents, designs and Target Operating Models
• Agreeing project scope
• Ensuring you are up to date with trends within the UK and European life insurance industries
• Working with internal teams and external clients on Business Transformation projects
• Platform integration design
• Platform configuration
• Consultancy services to clients
• Staying up to date on Regulatory issues and keeping clients informed and compliant

You must have:

• Experience of the administration of With Profits life insurance products
• Experience working with Actuarial teams
• An understanding of Actuarial calculations
• Experience building, implementing and integrating large software platforms, ideally within an insurance or wealth management environment
• Experience of
  • mapping processes
  • running workshops
  • creating BRDs and Technical Specs
  • working with Development teams (on site & remote)
  • defining and running testing
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• An ability to build rapport and develop strong business relationships in a short period of time
