Proactive PMO / Business Manager within Risk Permanent

New exciting Business / Project Management and Coordinating role working within a Leading Financial Service client of ours in Paris. Working in the Risk department and interacting with senior management, you will be a deputy to the COO of the department.

The role is there to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the business area, but also coordinating and tracking within the organisation from a Risk perspective.

 

Responsibilities

 

• You will partner with the COO on daily operations and tasks across Credit, Market and Operational Risk
• Maintain and track the dashboards for risk and performance indicators , statistics and reporting
• Maintain relationships and synergy with various management and heads of department. Also following up on required information
• Supporting continuous improvement in the risk culture of the organisation
• Ensure department follows the risk governance and process
• Working on Project Management and Coordination tasks to update risk dashboards and distribute risk information and alerts across the business to relevant team members
• Improve risk controls, track and provide timelines and smoother processes

 

Skills and background

 

• 3 – 7 years of experience within Financial Services in a PMO, Project Management, Business Management or Coordination role
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English
• Strong ability to interact with various levels across the business
• Proactive, organised and efficient
• Analytical, focused and good ability to pick up on relevant detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects, challenge stakeholders and follow up on relevant request
• Positive approach with the end goal in mind
